More coaches appointed for 2017

Cambridge FCís top menís and womenís teams are set to start 2017 with coaching teams appointed and ready to prepare for the new season.

After seeking expressions of interest, the clubís committee have made the following appointments:

WaiBOP Premiership
Coach: Mike Woodlock
Assistant coach: Steve Thomas
Goalkeeping coach: Kim Brierley

WaiBOP Championship
Coach: Adrian Clark
Assistant coach: Jason Morgan

Womenís First Team
Coach: Andrew Taylor
Manager: Fairlie Morton

Other support roles for these teams, and the coaching/management appointments for other senior teams, will be decided as soon as possible.

The appointments for the two senior menís teams ensure continuity from those who have seen our first team win the Premiership in 2015 and finish runners-up in 2016, and the development of young talent through our Championship and Waikato A teams.

Andrew Taylor will go into his fourth season in a coaching role with the women.

Meanwhile, the club continues to receive expressions of interest for our youth and junior teams and we urge anyone considering a coaching or team management role to contact us by emailing club secretary Josh Easby.

With the arrival of former All Whites coach Ricki Herbert as our clubís Technical Director next year, our club plans to provide increased support for its coaches.
